Cameras and navigation

WHAT IT’S FOR:

There are two types of cameras in the SHMUP Creator: the game camera, which is the camera used by the game itself, and the perspective camera, which is used in the editor to help you manipulate objects.
You can find more information about the game camera in the “Camera” section.

PROPERTIES:

Game editor button: clicking on this button select the game camera and allow you to edit its properties on the properties panel.

Game view button: choose to display the game view in the editor: this is how the game will look when people will play it.

Perspective view button: display the perspective view in the editor. It allows you to choose other ways to look at the level to edit it more easily. You can press repeatedly on this icon to change the view: Top or 3/4 and Front.

Note: once in perspective view, you can press T to go in top mode, which is the most useful view to edit your level.
Note:

Camera shortcuts:

. Pressing C switch between the Game view and the Perspective view.
. Pressing F focuses the camera on the current selection or on the whole level if nothing is selected.
. Pressing T set the view to the Top camera If the view is in Perspective view.
. Middle mouse button or Ctrl+Alt+Left mouse button pan the view in Perspective
. Mouse wheel zoom in and out in Perspective view
