Settings

WHAT’S IT FOR:

This tab allows you to set global settings for your game.

The game screen ratio:

Even with different screens, the game will stay in the chosen ratio, which is good for consistent gameplay across a variety of hardware.
Whole screen radio button: the game will fill the user screen, whatever its ratio. The only possible inconsistent mode.
16/9 radio button: the game will use the 16/9 ratio.
4/3 radio button: the game will use the 4/3 ratio, like most retro games.
3/4 radio button: this ratio is good for vertical shooters.

Game orientation preferences:

Change the way the assets are imported and placed in the level. The SHMUP Creator will do its best to orient the objects in the chosen direction: for example, the bullets will be rotated by 90 degrees for horizontal levels.
