Menu editor

WHAT ITS FOR:

This is the game start menu. There is a lot of things you can customize.
PROPERTIES:
PREVIEW WINDOW

Show the menu preview.
Button: test the menu to menu transition
Button: test the menu up-down navigation

SPLASH SCREEN

You can choose two background pictures before the menu.
picture 01 by default is a Bulo studio picture
picture 02 by default is a SHMUP Creator picture
If you choose your own picture for the picture 01 or 02 and keep “default” for the other one, a splash screen Bulostudio and SHMUP Creator will be chosen  for the default one.

BACKGROUND

You can choose a background picture for the menu.
 Picture menu: the background picture
 Scroll speed x/y spinners: you can make the background scroll on one or two axes.
Fit: it’s difficult to know what screen ratio users will have, to you need to choose how the picture will be displayed on a variety of screens:
 Fit horizontal button: the picture will scale until its horizontal borders touch the horizontal screen borders.
 Fit vertical button: will do the same, but using the vertical borders.

MUSIC

 Music menu: the music played during the start menu.

TITLE

There are two ways to display the game title on the start menu: with text, or with a picture.
Position x/y: the position of the title on the screen.
GFX radio button: the title will be a picture.
 Choose menu: the title picture.
 Size spinner: the scale of the title.
Text: the title will be a text.
 Font menu: the title font.
 Size spinner: the title scale.
 Color: you can colorize the text with this color.

MENU

The menu offers all the game options: start, graphics and sound settings,etc.
 Position x/y spinners: the menu position. Note that it can move up automatically to display every line if you choose a position too low.

APPEARANCE

 Font: the font of the menu.
 Size spinner: the menu text size.
 Color: you can colorize the text.
line-spacing spinner: the space between two lines.
 Align left/middle/right buttons: you can align the menu to the left, to the right, or center it.

SELECTED APPEARANCE

The appearance of the current menu option. The transition between the two options can be animated.
 Duration spinner: the transition duration.
 Offset spinner: the selected line can be offset to the right or left.
 Color: the selected line can be colorized.
 Scale spinner: the selected line can scale
 Blink checkbox: the selected line can blink

TRANSITION

This controls the transition between two menu sections. For example, from settings to graphic settings.
 Duration spinner: the transition duration.
 Line delay spinner: you can add a delay between two lines to make the transition appears line by line.
 Position x/y spinners: the start position of the menu before it appears (a verifier)
 Fade checkbox: if checked, the new menu will fade from transparent to opaque during the transition.

SOUNDS

This section allows you to choose the menu sounds.
 Menu go Sound menu: the sound played when a new menu appears.
 Menu back Sound menu: the sound played when the user goes back to the previous menu.
 Select button Sound button: the sound played when the user selects something.
 Start button Sound button: the start sound when the user press the “start the game” button.
Start game Sound button: the start sound when the user starts the game.
